Indian English-language literature is in good hands, says Jeet Thayil, Curator in Residence at the 26th ILB and editor. Kamal Trilok Singh proves this with his debut, *happily ever after*. Thayil recognizes “an example of uncompromising literary virtuosity.” Singh sensitively and rhythmically dissects a relationship down to the smallest detail, navigating between fantasies of revenge and scenes of love. A discussion of the novel will follow a performative reading.
