Following their award-winning recordings of the symphonies of Mendelssohn and Schubert, the Kammerakademie Potsdam and its artistic director Antonello Manacorda embarked on a new major project a few years ago: the ensemble is currently devoting itself to a complete recording of Ludwig van Beethoven's symphonies, part of which is being made in the Pierre Boulez Hall. Together with a prominent international quartet of soloists and the Prague Collegium Vocale 1704, the musicians are now performing the monumental Ninth Symphony.
