KARŌSHI - Kerstin Möller & Manuela Bolegue

In the organizer's words:

KARŌSHI takes the audience on a moving journey through the physical and emotional experiences of overwork and burnout - from incessant activity to deep exhaustion to the moment of collapse.

With expressive movement from contemporary dance and hip-hop, the piece shows how social pressure, constant responsibility and the need to perform shape our lives. At the same time, KARŌSHI opens up a space for hope: it creates visionary, feminist images of a caring and supportive community and invites us to discover new paths for connection, healing and shared strength.

A play about burden, reflection and the power to start again.
