Karwendel combines song and poetry. The inspiration for sound and production comes from music from the island and overseas: Van Morrison and Robert Wyatt are influences for the open form, Bonnie Prince Billy and Manuel García for the organic production. Elements of poetry as well as folk, jazz and rock music combine to create an independent melange that radiates great calm and musicality.
