Chamber opera in three songs - a retelling of the ancient myth of the Trojan War

What is the real story behind the curse of Cassandra, the seeress whom no one believes? In the midst of a story about the sorrows and longings of human existence between archaic power and modern senselessness, the mysterious narrator Philema invites us to an evening of devotion to the goddess of love Aphrodite and her pleasures of beauty, tenderness and lust.
In the final musical theater production by Paula Oscar Rüdiger (director) and composer Leon Zmelty, Cassandra is given a self-determined role. The stories of Helene, who was chosen by the goddess Aphrodite as the most beautiful of all women, of the lovers Andromache and Hector, who are torn apart by war, and of Hecabe, who despairs at the downfall of her city, are also illuminated anew. What have the myths left out? How far will Cassandra go for revenge?
