KATERFAHRT, a six-piece crew who bring their SPICED PIRATE FOLK to the people with their own lyrics and melodies.
Violin, flute, acoustic guitar - all carried by a pounding and driving foundation of drums and bass - are the basic ingredients of the pirate folk sound that Katerfahrt present. In addition, funny to ironic lyrics are sung in catchy melodies - and with a voice that sounds as raw and unpolished as a pirate should.
Katerfahrt bring a powerful energy to the stage and encourage the audience to sing, dance and party. They transform every venue into a harbor tavern where they sing about seafaring, pirate life and, last but not least, rum.
