Born and raised in the Altmark, she now lives in Himbergen in the Lüneburg Heath. Can a place of residence sound more like a garden? Hardly.

And that's exactly where it is: her garden. Her retreat. The origin of all her creative katrinsgarten constructions. And the nucleus of countless incredible stories. She single-handedly cuts down 25 fir trees with a handsaw, following the motto: it's up to the woman. And when the natural fertilizer unintentionally ends up on the Christmas tree, the "head gardener" Tyson, Katrin's dachshund, is delighted. Together, the two of them form an unbeatable team when it comes to planning, tending and caring for the trees.
