Kaya Yanar has always been LOST.
He almost missed his cue at birth. As a toddler, he had long hair and everyone thought he was a girl. At school, he went to Protestant classes, although his brother went to Catholic classes. His parents never spoke Turkish to him, although they never spoke German well. His studies would only have enabled him to pay back his Bafög with his unemployment benefit.
When he tries to open the roof window in his car, he calls the breakdown service. When he tries to play his popular character, the Indian Ranjid, he is accused of blackfacing.
The world has become more complicated, what jokes can he still make? Who decides that? Aren't we all a bit LOST?
