'Keep Your Eyes Peeled' is an exhibition project of the AFF Gallery and takes place at irregular intervals on certain art highlights in the gallery's rooms.

During this year's Berlin Gallery Weekend, a group exhibition with works by AFF photographers and selected artists from the gallery's wider community will be on display.

Today, photography is a medium that permeates our everyday lives like hardly any other - as a means of communication, a medium of memory, a means of documentation and evidence, for self-assurance, as an object of research, a note and, of course, as a work of art. Images are captured, fill our hard drives, light up on the various screens and become embedded in our thoughts. The equipment, the smartphone, the camera, the data carrier or even the WLAN transmission usually happen in the background and we do not penetrate their processes within the image production. We are surrounded by a complexity of images that shape our vision and experience in such a way that our interlaced everyday life seems partly easier, but also all the more impenetrable.

The AFF Gallery is continuing its exhibition format 'Keep Your Eyes Peeled' to respond to developments and trends in contemporary photography. A curated selection of images will be temporarily returned to a common real location (the gallery) in a short exhibition sequence.
