In the organizer's words:
Kemo The Blaxican – Hip-Hop Legend with International Influence
As the only consistently Spanish-speaking MC in Delinquent Habits, Kemo The Blaxican shaped the group’s unique sound for over two decades and brought Latin hip-hop to stages around the world. His big breakthrough came in 1996 with the cult hit “Tres Delinquentes, ” which combined traditional mariachi sounds with powerful hip-hop beats, creating an entirely new genre.
The song became an international success, selling over a million singles and leading to tours with big names like Korn and Ice-T. From the very beginning, Kemo impressed with his unmistakable bilingual flow and quickly established himself as a fixture in the scene.
After several successful albums with Delinquent Habits , Kemo launched his solo career with “Simple Plan.” Despite a serious cancer diagnosis, he fought his way back and celebrated his comeback.
Today, Kemo is once again part of Delinquent Habits and has released the album “It Could Be Round Two” as well as his solo EP “Ugly At Times.” He is also currently working with Sen Dog (Cypress Hill) on the new project Negros de la Raza.
