Kendall Lujan is a captivating voice that touches both the head and the heart. She combines soft and powerful vocals that trigger something in you. Inspired by vintage fashion, postcards and various couch patterns, she shapes her lyrics to convey stories and emotions in an empathetic way. Hailing from Portland, Oregon, she combines folk, rock, Americana and singer-songwriter elements to create her own little world.

Influenced by artists such as Feist, Billie Holiday, Brandi Carlile, Sheryl Crow and Amy Winehouse, Lujan fuses all of this into songs about love, life, loss, new beginnings and perspective. Her songwriting is honest, introspective and reflective. After four European tours in just a year and a half, Lujan is ready to showcase her versatility and artistic growth on her new album, which will be released in spring 2026.

Her debut EP Kendall Lujan (2023, via American Magazine Standard Time Records) also featured "Forget Me Knots", a song that was played on MTV Germany. In 2025, she finally released her first full album Lucky Penny (Rola Records), which impressively shows her growth as a songwriter and musician. The first single "Goodbyes" was featured in Peacock's Long Bright River. Lucky Penny also received 4 out of 5 stars in Rolling Stone Magazine and was placed in official playlists on Spotify and Apple Music.

Lujan has also garnered attention on NPR's Tiny Desk and the John Lennon Songwriting Contest. She was recently named one of the "Best New Bands 2024" by Willamette Weekly. She has shared the stage with acts such as Amos Lee, Frazey Ford (The Be Good Tanyas), Allie Crow Buckley, Early James and The Magnetic Fields.
