Two-Part Workshop – Creating and Glazing Ceramics
This workshop offers a hands-on introduction to working with clay—ideal for anyone who wants to gain their first experience in the craft of ceramics. No prior experience is required.

Session 1: Shaping and Designing (approx. 3 hours)
We’ll start by teaching you the basics of hand-building. You’ll learn simple techniques such as thumb-pressing, slab building, and working with plaster molds.
Afterward, under our guidance, you’ll create your first pieces, such as cups, bowls, or decorative objects.
You’ll typically create 2 to 5 unique pieces during this session.

Session 2: Glazing (approx. 2 hours)
During the second session, you’ll finish your bisque-fired pieces with a glaze of your choice. We’ll guide you through the entire process right here in the studio.
We’ll schedule the glazing session together during our first meeting.

Pickup
About 2–3 weeks after the glazing session, your fired pieces will be ready for pickup.

Clay, glazes, bisque firing, and glaze firing are included in the price.
