AtMármol, everything revolves around wellness, mindful living, and the beauty of Chilean inspiration. Workshop leader Ari believes that self-care is more than just a trend—it’s an invitation to pause and connect with yourself. She brings this feeling to her workshops.

In this creative glycerin soap-making workshop, you’ll design your very own personalized bar of soap: You’ll choose dried flowers and scents, and at the end, you’ll take home a one-of-a-kind bar that you truly made yourself. All materials are included.

Glycerin Soap-Making Workshop with Araceli Cruz (Mármol) at the Markt der Möglichkeiten

Craft your own soap as a ritual of self-care.

Mármol is a creative space inspired by the beauty of Chile, dedicated to wellness and intentional living. Workshop host Araceli Cruz believes that self-care is more than a trend—it’s an invitation to slow down and reconnect with yourself. She brings this philosophy to every workshop she leads.

This workshop is part of a series of participatory art experiences taking place atDer Markt derMöglichkeitenin Hamburg.

Each session begins with an envelope, sealed with wax. Inside is everything you need to get started. Then the soap-making begins.

Three layers. Three phases. You wait between each one. And while you wait, you color.

Clarity.  
The first layer is transparent. Inside it, sealed in glycerin, is a phrase about waiting, written by someone who was here before you. 

Transformation. 
The second layer holds something that hasn’t yet become what it will be.

Presence. 
The final step is to remove the soap from the mold. Clarity appears first. It was underneath everything the whole time.
 

What will you take with you?
A handmade soap you made yourself. An illustrated booklet, a tangible memento of the waiting period. A quote you wrote yourself that will live on, sealed inside someone else’s soap.
