Kiez-Weinbattle

When it comes to the ring in St. Pauli, fists usually fly in the dimly lit boxing cellar. This summer, however, the first open-air wine battle on the Kiez will take place in the breezy, cozy vineyard: Vineyard boss Elke Berner and Alexander Hagen, gastronomic director of the Schmidt stages, will compete in three rounds for the victory of their sponsored wineries: a summery selection of German Riesling, rosé and white Burgundy from the wineries Oliver Zeter and Hörner from the Palatinate and Juliane Eller and Daniel Mattern, both from Rheinhessen, will be served.
In three rounds, a total of twelve exciting wines will be tasted and, of course, judged - because the guests are the only judges on this evening. In addition to all the wines presented, water, bread and delicious finger food are included in the price. And in addition to the award ceremony for the most popular wine, there are also great prizes to be won. Cheers, may the best wine win!
