In the early 20th century, oil brought great wealth to the Osage Nation, and they became one of the wealthiest peoples in the world overnight. The prosperity of these Native Americans immediately attracted white invaders who manipulated and extorted the people and stole as much money from the Osage as they could - until they even resorted to murder. Against this backdrop, "Killers of the Flower Moon" uses the unlikely love between Ernest Burkhart (Leonardo DiCaprio) and Mollie Kyle (Lily Gladstone) to tell an epic Western crime saga in which true love and an unfathomable betrayal collide. Robert De Niro and Jesse Plemons are featured in other roles. "Killers of the Flower Moon" is directed by Oscar winner Martin Scorsese, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Eric Roth. The film is based on the best-selling book of the same name by David Grann.
