In June 2025, the indie icon will play an exclusive concert in Berlin, performing her new songs and some gems from her musical past live.

Some of the songs, including the oldest tracks "Are You Mine?" and "Wish I Was", were written after the Pixies' "Lost Cities Tour" in 2011. After her time in Los Angeles, where she worked with long-time musical companions such as Mando Lopez, the album evolved over the years. The first single "Coast", recorded by legendary producer icon Steve Albini, is a perfect example of Kim's ability to weave introspective lyrics with catchy melodies. Inspired by a 2020 wedding celebration and with a musical past that stretches back to Nantucket in 2000, the song showcases Kim Deal's special storytelling power. Working on "Nobody Loves You More" was a journey across decades, places and moods. Whether intimate basement recordings in Dayton, Ohio, sessions with the "Savages" rhythm duo in Florida or final studio work with Albini in Chicago - the album is a kaleidoscope of memories, musical experiments and deeply rooted songwriting. Renowned companions such as Kelley Deal, Jim Macpherson and Britt Walford contributed their part to this multi-layered work. The album's artwork was created by Alex Da Corte, who was inspired by the mysterious disappearance of concept artist Bas Jan Ader and designed a cover that reflects Kim's fascination with failure.
