The kids’ summer program featuring Pirate Neckarschreck is setting sail again during summer break

Pirate Neckarschreck and his friend, the Water Sprite

During summer vacation, Pirate Neckarschreck—aka Jack Spätzle—is setting sail again on his pirate raft. This time, he wants to visit his childhood friend, the Water Sprite, along with his pirate apprentice Backenbart and the kid pirates. Pirate Neckarschreck and the Water Sprite haven’t seen each other since childhood. Will Neckarschreck find him again, and what has become of him?

Dates: July 31, August 5, August 12, and August 14, 2026

Boarding: 10:30 a.m., departure at 11:00 a.m., return between 1:00 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.

Boarding takes place on the club ship Neckarbesen at 10:30 a.m.; the ship departs at 11:00 a.m. from Pier 3 at the Wilhelma dock in Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt. Return is around 1:00 p.m. Up to 120 pirates of all ages can join each trip. Children are welcome to come dressed as pirates.
