In the organizer's words:
They get a screaming fit just because a mouse runs through the yard. They almost pee in their pants when they have to go to the dentist. And shiver all over when the children climb trees. Big kids are such shivers! Of course, even little ones get scared from time to time - but running away from thunderstorms or black cats? That only makes them more scared, they think. So they decide to get up close to the fear and poke it in the stomach. In this way, they not only dispel their own fears, but also some of the fears of the grown-ups.
