In the organizer's words:

How do children look at the world? And how do they talk about it? The performers from vorschlag:hammer conducted interviews with children from Leipzig, Zurich, Duisburg and Berlin. And collected stories from their lives. Sometimes everyday, sometimes surprising. The texts are now spoken and performed on stage by adults. KINDHEITEN is a patchwork of biographies between fiction and reality, past and future. A multi-layered negotiation between the adult perspective and the young view, beyond logic and temporality. The children's stories are always taken unconditionally seriously. The result is a comical, curious and thought-provoking panorama of childhood today. "Absurd theater at its very best, which will deservedly become a festival hit" (nachtkritik).
