Cosmopolitan calls her the Australian “Princess of Pop”: Kita Alexander has risen to the top of the Australian music scene with her soulful melodies and poignant lyrics. With her new album “RAGE,” she’ll be coming to Hamburg, Berlin, and Cologne in October 2026 for three shows.

Born in 1996, Alexander grew up in picturesque Byron Bay. The town—full of surfers, community events, and a vibrant art scene—influenced her from a young age. At just ten years old, she began writing and composing her own songs; by 16, she was already performing on various local stages. While still a teenager, she released her first two EPs, “Lion Hat” (2013) and “Like You Want To” (2015). The latter would mark her breakthrough: the single of the same name became a national hit and earned Kita Alexander her first gold certification. Shortly thereafter, she followed up with “Hotel,” an introspective EP in which she processed the early death of her older sister.

Her debut album, “Young In Love,” released in 2024, was a passionate tribute to life—always accompanied by her unmistakable voice and catchy pop choruses. She can now look back on three platinum singles, over 500 million streams, four ARIA Awards nominations, and successful collaborations with big names like FISHER, Morgan Evans, and LAUREL.

But standing still is not an option for Kita Alexander: Her second album, “RAGE,” is set to be released in June. It traces an intimate story of Alexander’s personal struggle with anger. This emotion, often misunderstood, instead became a catalyst for positive change in the Australian artist’s life. The LP aims to encourage listeners to realize that it’s okay to feel their own anger, to let it exist, and to draw their own conclusions from it. Driven by her signature, honest songwriting, “RAGE” takes listeners on an emotional journey that culminates in personal growth.

After several completely sold-out tours in Australia, as well as a headline show in London, a slot at The Great Escape in Brighton, and support slots for international stars like Dua Lipa and Madison Beer, Kita Alexander is now taking the next step. In the fall of 2026, the Australian artist will embark on a tour of the EU and the UK, during which she’ll perform three concerts in Germany for the first time, with her new album in tow!
