When the second half begins in soccer, when the curtain rises on the second act in opera: Then it gets exciting (again). That's exactly how it is "Wann de Pänz ens us dem Huus sin": life suddenly offers opportunities that you didn't have before. Some are overwhelmed, others throw themselves into the adventure - and still others act according to the Cologne motto: "Et hät noch noch jot jejange". On this evening, dialect author Elfi Steickmann sheds light on the "second half" of life with texts from her vast collection. She has now published eleven books "op Kölsch" - and they only represent a selection of her repertoire.
Variety is therefore guaranteed. Pianist and singer Andreas Münzel provides the appropriate sounds: Sometimes familiar and to sing along to, sometimes to rediscover, sometimes from his own pen and certainly previously unheard. With these two protagonists on stage, one thing is certain: Et weed herrlich "Kölsch". And, of course, it's not only worthwhile for the parents' faction, on the contrary: the "Puute" are just one of the topics in this amusing Cologne ramble through relationship boxes, everyday pieces, anecdotes and other situations in life.
