The"KlavierHausMusik" concert series at Klavierhaus Rohlfing is entering the next round: look forward to 25-year-old Charlotte Steppes, who has gained an excellent reputation in just a few years.

During her studies in Leipzig with her teacher and mentor Josef Christof, the sought-after pianist was a member of the Gewandhaus Orchestra Academy from 2021 to 2023 and performed as an orchestral pianist with renowned conductors such as Andris Nelsons, Cristian Macelaru and Alan Gilbert. In May 2024, she played with Anne-Sophie Mutter in Lutoslawski's "Partita" for violin and orchestra, which contains several duo intermezzi for violin and piano. The MDR Symphony Orchestra under Dennis Russell Davies has already engaged her three times as a soloist - including in the live broadcast celebratory concert for the "100 Years of the Radio Orchestra" anniversary with Charles Ives' Symphony No. 4 - as well as the Gewandhaus Orchestra Leipzig under the direction of Marek Janowski in 2024.

In 2026, she will make her debut at the Schumannfest in Düsseldorf together with the Gewandhaus Quartet and as a soloist with the Stuttgart Philharmonic and conductor Sebastian Weigle. Charlotte Steppes has already recorded Hwiman Ryu's Piano Concerto with the Staatskapelle Weimar for a video production. She can now be enjoyed live for the first time in Osnabrück.
