The small room concert is a monthly format in which artists from very different genres present their songs away from the big stages in a relaxed and personal living room atmosphere. This month you can listen to us:

"I want my music to take people out of their everyday lives for a moment," says Laura Nahr. "To be somewhere else for a few minutes".

Switch off, sing along, be happy. She is interested in lightness, in songs that leave space.

Having grown up in Magdeburg, Laura has been involved in music for a long time. She learned to play various instruments early on, wrote her own songs and tried things out. Her smoky voice quickly became a recognizable feature. In 2019, she released her first own song, "Connected", on Spotify. After graduating from high school, Laura's path led her via Leipzig to London for a Master's in Music Business. There she also works on her own songs at the renowned Metropolis Studio.

The turning point comes in 2024: a cover video on social media goes viral, then the next one. Laura's reach grows within a short space of time. "I didn't expect it at all," she says looking back. Laura's music is organic pop with catchy hooks. The content is about closeness, heartbreak, the little moments of everyday life. She describes her songs as accessible: music for switching off and finding yourself again
