They come from different musical worlds and, thanks to their long-standing friendship, know how to express this "multi-stringedness" in their music.

The concert draws a lush mosaic of sounds, rhythms and melodies - and creates a wonderful bridge between different cultures, which the musicians know how to tell about. Uzbek-born violist Lev Guzman and Serbian accordionist Ljubo Mitrović brought passionate klezmer and Balkan music with them from their home country; the String Company appreciates the richness of color and the narrative power of this music and carries it forward. Songs are performed in English, Russian, Polish, Yiddish, Hebrew, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Serbian and German.
