The German government is planning a frontal attack on the energy transition - and we are taking to the streets to oppose it!

In the next few months, Economics Minister Katherina Reiche wants to overturn the renewables quota for heating, de facto stop the expansion of solar and wind through new subsidy and connection rules and at the same time build 20 to 30 new fossil gas-fired power plants. Even fracking is back on the table. This is the fossil fuel lobby making inroads - at the expense of us all.

Energy is becoming more expensive by the day anyway. Refueling, heating, food - rising prices are felt by everyone. The CDU and Katherina Reiche are plunging us into new dependencies and fossil fuel cost traps instead of finally paving the way for an affordable, renewable energy supply.

The climate movement has already stopped coal excavators and fought for the Climate Protection Act. The gas-fired power plants and blockade rules against wind and solar have not yet been decided. If we become visible now - as a broad alliance of civil society, social organizations and business - we can save the energy transition.
