The Affenfaust Gallery is opening its largest exhibition of the year, KNOTENPUNKT26. Across more than 1,000 m², urban and contemporary art come together with immersive installations, performances, and large-scale works. Highlights include the world premiere of an art performance by Das Bo, an interactive sand installation by Christian Brinkmann, a fast-food dinner by @kriegundfreitag, and a major presentation of works by Hamburg graffiti legend OZ.
In addition, over 40 national and international artists will present works in a wide variety of media—ranging from painting, drawing, and sculpture to installation, object art, and urban art. International heavyweights will share the stage with exciting newcomers, and established artists will engage with experimental approaches. KNOTENPUNKT26 invites you to discover new perspectives, experience art up close, and engage in conversation with the artists.
Curated by the Affenfaust Gallery for over a decade, KNOTENPUNKT has evolved into one of the most significant exhibitions for urban and contemporary art in Germany. With its extraordinary mix of international artists, immersive installations, performances, and public art, the exhibition provides fresh inspiration every year and draws visitors from all over Germany and beyond to Hamburg. It is accompanied by a diverse supporting program featuring live painting, performances, guided tours, and other events that bring art to life in unique ways.
