Kohle, Blech & Stahl brings traditional miners' songs to the stage in a jazz quartet. The result is a musical dialog between past and present, further development, deconstruction and improvisation. Traditions that still characterize the Ruhr region today are reflected in the musical influences of Bill Frisell and Jakob Bro.
