The Royal Winter Magic is not a Christmas market, but a very elaborately designed special exhibition inside and outside the castle. Instead of the charm of stalls and crowds, it offers a Christmas atmosphere in a historical setting. The Count's Hall will feature a twelve-metre-long table with original classicist service and silver from imperial collections by Karl Friedrich Schinkel, flanked by a seven-metre-high Christmas tree. The other rooms will also be magically decorated. Visitors can explore them at will and be whisked away into the Christmas world of royalty and majesty. There will also be an exhibition on the history of Christmas decorations made of glass in the Catholic castle chapel.

As dusk falls, the facades in the castle courtyard are regularly illuminated on a large scale. This is also where the court juggler Klausi Klücklich releases shimmering soap bubbles into the night sky to the scent of mulled wine and waffles. Every now and then, Santa Claus or his little helpers stop by and the puppets dance on Cinderella's puppet stage.

The castle restaurant has winter delicacies on the menu and small groups can enjoy hearty treats in heated themed huts in the castle garden. In addition, Café Kira on the 3rd floor invites you to enjoy coffee and cake in a cozy living room atmosphere.
