KONINGINNEDAG im HAFEN

In the organizer's words:

We have been celebrating Koninginnedag at HAFEN on April 30 for 30 years! Based on the story of Juliane and Beatrix, we celebrated it for the first time in 1993. And since 1995 with Chrille Fritz as queen. Every year with a new gown, every year with a new vehicle. Together with the depressed Prince Klaus, Chrille Fritz has represented the small kingdom of HAFEN for 30 years and has always given it a foundation, joy and motivation for the following summer. After 30 years, her term of office is now coming to an end.

To mark the 30th anniversary of the throne, the gay bar institution in Motzstraße is now holding its abdication ceremony. The last Koninginnedag aims to provocatively and actively counter the danger of queer cultural visibility being withdrawn.
