How: Arrivederci? Yes! Arrivederci!

For God's sake, it has to end sometime. Well, let's take another look around and see what's happened in the 60 years I've been here in the Rhineland, 47 of them on stage.

Filling Dat kölsche Grundgesetz with life once again, for your final amusement. Provide examples, reasons, stories and the odd song for every paragraph and the preamble, so that even non-Rhinelanders have the chance to understand what a special universe the Rhineland is.

That's the least I owe the Rhineland. But then it has to be enough. I have other things to do than make you laugh: there are (at the moment) 2 granddaughters and 2 grandsons, who knows what else will come along (I still have hope!) then I have to take care of my health - in between, because I am a 'premium patient' at Bonn University Hospital (that's what it says on my medical records!), and have experienced a few things there.

Besides, I'm no Johannes Heesters, I'm just a normal border crosser between Italy, South Tyrol and the Rhineland universe.

And as they say in the Rhineland: "You never leave completely", we will certainly meet again here and there, who knows.

Until then, I'm looking forward to seeing you and one last round of Beikircher.
