Konstantin Richter liest "Dreihundert Männer"

Konstantin Richter, nominated for the German Non-Fiction Prize, is coming to the BürgerTreff Ruhr for a reading on May 7. He will be reading from his book "Dreihundert Männer - Aufstieg und Fall der Deutschland AG"!

In it, he explores the tight network of bankers, captains of industry and lobbyists that emerged with the rise of companies such as Allianz, Krupp and Siemens. Richter is an author and journalist who has written for Die Zeit as well as international media such as The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal. The jury of the German Non-Fiction Prize 2026 praised "Dreihundert Männer - Aufstieg und Fall der Deutschland AG" as a haunting and illuminating work about the continuity of influence structures over 150 years of German economic history.
