In the organizer's words:

The sound of the three musicians, who met at the HMT Leipzig, cannot be clearly categorized. You will hear music that is rooted in progressive rock fragments and clear swing. In some places, the music will be played collectively over an 11/4 time signature in profound arpeggios and written-out lines, in other places the mode will be loud distortion and backbeat. A three-piece jazz band with a rock attitude. Original compositions and covers by Jeff Beck, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Emily Remler ...

The name Ashes & String is intended to reflect a cool attitude and sensitive sounds. Clara, Ede and Christoph are still at the beginning of their journey as a jazz rock trio and are looking forward to the evening in the temporary store.
