Kackbratze stands for dirty and uncompromisingly honest punk rock. Their songs have an enormous catchy tune factor with a large portion of tongue-in-cheek and plenty of cynicism. But alongside the necessary chaos, the guys also show a clear stance against fascism and hatred. They make their debut in the Berlin scene pub "Trinkteufel" at the Fete de la Musique. The next requests follow immediately, and a short time later they play at SO36 - Berlin for "die Partei" and at the "Resist to Exist" Festival 2026.

They're loud, they're ready and they're up for it! And you can feel it. Anyone who has seen them live knows: this is not a revival, this is a rebellion

If you always thought you had to look to Scandinavia or across the pond to America for the finest melodic punk rock, you're about to be proven wrong. Fat Belly come from Hanover. Listen and be amazed: the dreary city on the Leine has more to offer than the Maschteich, a few colorful hippos and a mediocre soccer club!

Founded to hang out with friends in the rehearsal room and emulate their idols, the band has been on the road since the end of 2005. And they've been going full throttle ever since: The first EP has long been out of print, the debut album "Turn The Amplifiers On (Alter)!" produced by Jenzzz Gallmeyer (Terry Hoax, Gigantor) was released at the end of 2009 and delighted fans and press alike. Now the second album, which is always the most difficult (or so the pros say). Fat Belly wipe that off the table with a statement as simple as it is efficient: "Ready To Rock". "Set The Flag" will hit the record stores in February 2012 via intono records/Rough Trade and hits the stomach absolutely fresh. Straight punk rock with attitude that can't do without movement. An album that perfectly matches the band's energetic stage show.

Anyone who has had the opportunity to attend one of the more than 300 shows they have played knows what they mean. So now that the ass has already been played, it's time for the hip bones. Whether it's a 1000-person hall or in front of five people in the Juzi around the corner, the band doesn't really care. Fat Belly are fun. They use genre clichés at will and are not above anything. That's why every concert ends in a party. Art and personal standards are important, of course. But only as long as it's danceable.
