Robert Lucaciu and Philipp Martin play their music on double bass and electric bass. The fact that the chosen instrumentation, in addition to a certain rarity value, above all brings with it plenty of unknown territory in terms of tonal possibilities, makes this encounter a special experience for musicians and listeners alike:
The low-toned accompanists emerge as soloists, exposing the often hidden sound possibilities of their instruments and experimenting with the availability of instrumental doubling. It gets into your gut, rubs, floats and touches in the sonorous sound.
