Konzert Themis

In the organizer's words:

Themis draws his listeners to the dark side of rock music. He skillfully combines the dark with the bittersweet and emotional, combined with a large portion of queer power and punk attitude.

He and his live band also cast a magical spell over audiences at concerts and have recently played successful tours supporting alternative rock bands such as BLACK HONEY, GIRL & GIRL and SMILE.
The release of their debut album "The Heavy Door" and the subsequent headline tour were celebrated by fans and music blogs. Afterwards, Themis and his band dedicated themselves to writing, recording and producing the new EP "Thalassa".

On "Thalassa" (Greek: the sea), Themis dives deeper into the heady mix of dark, reverb-laden rock melodies, grungy bass riffs and loud, driving drums - as wide and heavy as the sea itself.

"Thalassa" offers a deeper look into Themis' darkly beguiling musical blend of garage rock, indie and post-punk and is reminiscent of bands such as The Kills, PJ Harvey and The Black Angels.
After further live highlights, Themis and his band are currently heading into the depths of the Milberg recording studios in Stuttgart with producer Ralv Milberg to work on the follow-up - the second studio album.
