Körper-Pose-Geste-Dynamik

In the organizer's words:

This ongoing course focuses on the human body - not as a perfect representation, but as a living carrier of tension, movement and expression. Together with the artist Peer Holthuizen, participants will explore the question of how postures, gestures and movement sequences can be perceived, captured and translated into their own formal language through drawing and sculpture.

Based on nude and movement studies, the course teaches basic and in-depth working steps of figurative modeling. The aim is to naturally implement nude poses and body dance postures with the help of their own formal language - from the first sketch to the finished sculpture and optional molding.

Participants learn to consciously perceive human movement, posture and dynamics and to translate these into expressive sculptural works. All stages of the production process are run through with calm and concentration: from drawing and sculptural construction to the production of negative molds and casts.
