As part of a guided tour through the exhibition "DRUCKFRISCH 2026", Ms. vom Grafen-Connolly explains various printing techniques. For the 17th time, 15 artists from different regions of Germany are presenting their printmaking works created over the past two years.
The exhibition shows an exciting spectrum of classic techniques such as etching, woodcut, lithography and screen printing. The focus is particularly on experimental developments of these centuries-old printing processes, which have been part of the intangible UNESCO World Cultural Heritage since 2018. The special expressive power of printmaking was already appreciated by important artists such as Goya, Rembrandt, Dix, Miró and Dürer - and lives on in a contemporary way in "DRUCKFRISCH 2026".
