"Can art change public space?". The WissensART Foundation is exploring this question together with WALLS CAN DANCE and is launching a free three-part street art film series. The street art film 'PAINTING DHAKA' will be shown. There will be a co-moderated audience discussion afterwards.

About the film:

PAINTING DHAKA (2023).

A place where trainsurfing is part of the everyday life of many just to arrive and the paint can becomes an instrument of communication. With his work, Lukas Zeilinger opens up a view of Dhaka beyond the usual Western narrative. This artistic documentary film reveals the simultaneity of injustice and the will for liberation along a graffiti workshop and the shady role of the Bangladesh Railway Company.
