Krawall + Zärtlichkeit Poetry Slam

The warmest poetry slam in the Ruhr region - at Theater Courage in Essen-Rüttenscheid.

Every last Tuesday of the month, you can look forward to a wonderful evening with colorful moments to empathize, laugh and get carried away. Under the moderation of Essen poetry slammer Marius Hanke, aka Zwergriese, four selected artists compete against each other in a double preliminary round - and of course you help decide with your vote which two people will compete again in the final. The line-up is hand-picked each time so that you can enjoy the different facets of poetry slam - with all the entertaining, inspiring and rousing moments the format has to offer. And the atmosphere is super warm in the cozy atmosphere of Theater Courage.

What's more, there's always a place available at the Krawall + Zärtlichkeit poetry slam for people from the region who want to gain their first experience on the slam stage. So it could well be that, in addition to wonderful newcomer moments, you will also experience one or two first performances by people who will then hit the ground running. For all people with a very tight budget:
We want people to be able to attend our events regardless of their financial situation. That's why there are up to 7 community tickets for one euro each for this evening in addition to the regular tickets. Feel free to take one of them if it makes things easier. We don't want any explanation, trust that you have your reasons and are happy that you are there.
