In the days leading up to the holidays, visitors to the Karlspassage can look forward to a spectacular construction project: LEGO GmbH presents the impressive LEGO Big Build of the Mercedes-Benz G-Class. The faithful replica of the classic reaches a size of around 80% of its driving "role model", consists of an impressive 445,971 LEGO bricks and elements, and weighs in at 972.05 kilograms. The LEGO team needed an impressive 2,285 hours to build it. The detailed model will be on display in front of Breuninger Stuttgart from November 19 to December 23, 2025. (Right next door: a real Mercedes G-Class, provided by Mercedes itself).
On site, visitors who want to do good can be part of the annual LEGO "Build to Give" campaign. Here, colorful and creative LEGO hearts can be built for a good cause. For every LEGO heart built and shared on social media, such as the LEGO Life app, the LEGO Group donates a LEGO set to charitable partner organizations worldwide. In this way, participants in the campaign can not only give free rein to their creativity, but also bring joy to children who don't have it so easy!
