We do improv in the American long-form style: The audience provides a word or a short anecdote as the starting point. From there, a whole series of funny scenes and characters are created on the spot. Nothing is planned in advance; everything happens in the moment. New every time, different every time, always funny.

The Comedy Café Berlin is a bar, a theater, and an improv school all in one. It’s one of the best places in Berlin for improv and stand-up comedy in English and German. Located right in Neukölln’s nightlife district on Weserstraße, you can catch a show there, have a beer, and then continue out into the night. Wheelchair accessible and air-conditioned.
