We are all the more delighted that Ku'damm 56 will be returning to Berlin for a short time from January 2024!

What would Berlin be without its Ku'damm? The successful musical "Ku'damm 56 " ran for 15 months at the Theater des Westens and delighted more than 300,000 spectators. The run was extended twice! After an acclaimed tour in Munich and Frankfurt, the award-winning original production and celebrated musical is coming back home with the original cast - to Berlin. From January 12 to February 29, 2024, it will of course be playing where the success story began: at the Theater des Westens. This is the comeback of the year 2024!

"'Ku'damm 56' never misses an opportunity to turn hot topics into popular entertainment with an enlightened attitude", the Tagesspiegel newspaper wrote jubilantly after the Berlin world premiere. The musical "rocks with full power and furor", enthused the Berliner Zeitung. And Stern made it clear: "No trace of the stink of the 1950s!"

The musical with many emotionally charged songs and passionate choreography is based on the ZDF hit of the same name "Ku'damm", based on the idea and screenplay by Grimme Award winner Annette Hess and produced by UFA-Fiction. It tells the captivating story of the fate of dance school boss Catherina Schöllack and her three daughters in a Berlin on the move, the birth of rock'n'roll and the lustful struggle for love.It is a musical journey back in time to the 1950s, between the economic miracle and rebellion, oppression and emancipation.

The stage version is full of gripping hits and catchy tunes such as "Liebes Universum" and "Berlin, Berlin", all written by Peter Plate and Ulf Leo Sommer (Max Raabe, Sarah Connor, Anne Louisan, Rosenstolz and many more).

"Ku'damm 56 - The Musical" is an evening full of concentrated power and passion. There will be laughter, there will be tears, there will be dancing, arguing and love.
