Music is created through listening—not only between the performers, but also through interaction with the audience and the atmosphere of the moment. Frank Hegenberg is convinced of this. His passion is the handpan, a melodic steel instrument that he brings to life—sometimes softly and contemplatively, sometimes with great dynamism—by stroking and striking different sound fields, together with his duo partner Stefan.

Following that, a previous favorite returns to the Neubiberg cabaret stage: Danish musician Lotte Nielsen presents Nordic sounds with her band Café Nordlys. Featuring two vocalists, guitar, bass, and percussion, the Danish-German ensemble blends elements of Scandinavian folk tunes with the improvisational spirit of jazz.

Claudia Forstner takes the stage with stories of happiness. What does happiness mean? Is it a fleeting moment, a gift, or an inner attitude? Stories from various cultures and traditions are brought to life through lively, free-flowing narration and accompanied by music. This creates an atmosphere that invites listening, wonder, smiles, and reflection.

Reinhard Gottinger, known to the residents of Neubiberg as the president of the Environmental Garden Association and as a passionate homebrewer, will guide the audience through the program.
