We celebrate the diversity of Billstedt, 130 nations live in the city. Elif Ergün and the Billstedt-based Hamburg Turkish Music Choir present the diverse culture of their home country in the Kultur Palast Foundation's new event format "Cultures of our city!". They present their art in a big show - an evening full of music and stories. Look forward to a journey through the cultures of Turkey. There will also be culinary specialties from Turkish cuisine. The audience enjoys the show and the buffet.

With the project "Cultures of our City - Diversity on Stage", the Kultur Palast Foundation is presenting a twelve-part series of events in the Billstedt district. The aim is to introduce different communities, present their culture and create spaces for encounters. The project introduces the individual communities in a stage show, provides information about traditions and showcases their art and cuisine with a view to a future worth living in an urban area in which 130 nations live. The project aims to promote social cohesion and make cultural diversity visible. Visitors will spend a convivial time together and experience the individual communities in all their diversity in the district, learn more about each other and come into contact with each other. One community will be presented at each event.
