Experience the cultural summer at Schloss & Gut Liebenberg with an inspiring program for children, young people and adults!

DKB STIFTUNG für gesellschaftliches Engagement is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. From June to August 2024 , this year's cultural summer offers a range of events and activities, most of which are free of charge . It brings together people from the region and beyond. From open-air cinema in the castle park, concerts, culinary offers, a summer holiday program for children, the Fête de la Musique, the Brandenburger Landpartie to the Havelländer Puppenbühne.

At Schloss & Gut Liebenberg, the DKB STIFTUNG runs one of Brandenburg's largest inclusive businesses and a hotel. Located 60 kilometers north of Berlin, Schloss & Gut looks back on an eventful past: Kaiser Wilhelm II hunted here with his close friend and advisor Philipp Fürst zu Eulenburg. The Nazi resistance fighter Libertas Schulze-Boysen grew up here and during the GDR era, Liebenberg was used by the SED as a school estate for the party academy.

The historical heritage of the place is being preserved in the interests of a future worth living and cultural and sustainable education. Free guided tours of the castle's history are offered on International Museum Day on May 19. Here, the historical context is illuminated in order to learn from the events for our coexistence today. The open-air cinema in the castle park will show current films and there will be a colorful music program in Grüneberg on June 21 as part of the Fête de la Musique. The special summer holiday program invites children and young people to let off steam creatively: from nature themes to fashion and history, make their own films in the media workshop, prepare a delicious meal with fresh ingredients or learn more about the connections between humans and nature on the organically farmed land with goats, sheep and chickens.

Schloss & Gut Liebenberg, Parkweg 1a, 16775 Löwenberger Land From Berlin Südkreuz/ Potsdamer Platz / Hauptbahnhof or Gesundbrunnen take the RE5 to Löwenberg Mark. Alternatively, take the RB12 from Ostkreuz or Lichtenberg station to Grüneberg or Löwenberg Mark. From there, continue by bus to Liebenberg Bergsdorfer Straße or Liebenberg Parkweg. Or by bike on the cycle path from Löwenberg Mark / Grüneberg stations to Schloss & Gut Liebenberg. Current connections at www.bvg.de
