Kultursommer Starnberg 2026 - Action Painting mit Paulo de Brito

In collaboration with artist Paulo de Brito, the Starnberg-Ammersee Adult Education Center is offering two creative mornings on the theme of “Color as a Language.” 

Saturday, July 11, 2026, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., Interaction of Color Part 1, Black on White, Acrylic on Canvas

and

Saturday, July 18, 2025, 10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m., Interaction of Color Part 2: Yellow, Red on Blue, Acrylic on Canvas

Venue: Meadownear vhs Starnberg, Bahnhofsplatz 14, Starnberg 

These two creative mornings build on one another and are aimed at participants aged 18 and older who would like to freely explore the theme of color as a language. The focus of these two experimental workshops is on color as a force, detached from representational forms.

Please wear clothing and shoes that can withstand paint splatters!

Materials—i.e., canvas and paint—are provided by the artist at cost: EUR 25 per square meter of canvas. Participants determine the size of the canvas on which they would like to paint (up to a maximum of 210 x 110 cm). The cost of materials will be settled with the artist on site.
