According to crime statistics, Starnberg is a safe small town in a well-protected district. Yet over the centuries, murder and manslaughter have occurred here as well: whether politically motivated, driven by jealousy or greed, whether committed by revolutionaries, secret service agents, aristocrats, or women of dubious reputation—death befell them for a variety of reasons! We’ll set out to uncover the clues behind these crimes and examine historically significant true-crime cases and cold cases in our city.
