About the offer:
We draw with pencils and charcoal, paint with gouache, acrylic, watercolor and oil paint, egg tempera etc..
We work sculpturally with clay, plaster and construction foam. We discover many basic design techniques, art movements and artists. We glue collages from mixed media material, create art from wood and nails, work with fabrics, glue and yarn, with wire and wool, beads and feathers, stones, putty... there are no limits to what we can create!
With the courage to try things out, the participants will get to know some printing techniques, such as linocut. They will experience appreciation for the environment when they creatively and playfully upcycle materials and objects with the "make new from old" project.
Excursions with a practical component to art exhibitions in Hamburg's museums are the highlights of the course.
About me:
I am an illustrator and graphic designer and have been working as a lecturer and teacher for art and illustration at schools in Hamburg since 2012.
