KUNSTSOMMER IM SPRENGEL MUSEUM HANNOVER
In the organizer's words:
SUMMER OF ART 2026
6.7. TO 10.7.26
KunstSommer is an open offer for young people who want to give their creative ideas more space and time and enjoy designing, experimenting, researching, reflecting and presenting. The various exhibitions at the participating art institutions provide inspiration and exciting input.
You will receive professional support and feedback on the implementation of your ideas from university lecturers, artists and other experts from the field. They will also give you insights into their day-to-day work and answers to your questions about starting a career and choosing a course of study.
The 5-day workshops take place daily from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. (sometimes until 4 p.m.). As the number of participants is limited, you should only take part if you can attend all 5 days if possible. This is also because the contents of the individual workshop days build on each other.
WORKSHOP AT THE SPRENGEL MUSEUM HANNOVER
ME AND THE WORLD
What does art have to do with the world? What does art have to do with you? Is it an escape from the world for you? Or does it help you to look at the world? And what is it like for the artists at the Sprengel Museum Hannover?
For one week, we will be looking at ourselves, art and the world. We draw, film, perform, paint, photograph, build... We discuss, we play, we look. You bring your ideas and skills and we push you further if you need it.
We seek help from the museum's artists, such as Timm Ullrichs, who sought shelter in a stone. Or Christiane Möbus, who makes dreamy art with real animals. Be there when art and the world collide.
With Theresia Stipp, Sprengel Museum Hannover and Felix Helmut Wagner, artist from Vienna
