The Thuringia State Association of the Gesellschaft für Fotografie e. V. is presenting the 14th Thuringia State Photo Exhibition at Haus Dacheröden in 2025. 208 photographers submitted around 1,300 photos, from which a jury selected 70 individual images and eight series for the exhibition. The works show the great diversity of current photographic styles in Thuringia. The high proportion of women among the exhibitors is remarkable.

After stops at the Heidecksburg Residential Palace in Rudolstadt and at the Ernst Abbe University of Applied Sciences in Jena, the show is now on display in the gallery rooms and salons of the Kultur: Haus Dacheröden.

The chairman of the Thuringia regional association of the GfF, Dr. Eckhardt Schön, will give a guided tour of the exhibition on 9 January 2026 and explain the background to the jury's decision, the concept of the show and selected works. The tour offers an in-depth insight into current photographic developments in Thuringia.

A 44-page catalog has been published to accompany the exhibition, sponsored by the Cultural Foundation of the Free State of Thuringia.
